Chicago Fire player, Kellyn Acosta believes the team possesses the qualities needed to secure a spot in the 2024 MLS Playoffs.
According to the former LAFC player, securing a spot in the 2024 MLS Playoffs is not just a goal, but a baseline for Chicago Fire.
Acosta sees himself as the catalyst for bringing the club back to playoff contention consistently. The 28-year-old USMNT Dynamic midfielder stated, “I want to be the driving force to bring the club back to where they belong, playoff should be the baseline, we should be part of that every year.
“I have spent two finals and I want to be back there. We have the right group and the personnel to do just that”.
The last time Chicago Fire made it to the playoffs was in the 2017 MLS Season, and the team is geared up to initiate their quest for the playoffs beginning this weekend against Philadelphia Union on the road at the Subaru Stadium in Chester PA.
