Chicago Fire player Fabian Herbers is delighted with the recent acquisitions to the club’s roster as they gear up for the commencement of the 2024 MLS Season.
The inclusion of Belgian striker Cuypers and veteran USMNT dynamic midfielder Kellyn Acosta position the Fire as genuine contenders for the 2024 MLS playoffs.
Herbers, entering his 5th year in the windy city, is excited with the club’s proactive approach in strengthening the roaster with proven players.
“I am pretty excited, with the pieces we have, I think they can help us going forward, the club has done really well, we still have to get a new rhythm and integrate them, but we can manage and be successful with them.”
The introduction of the newest Chicago Fire players to the media is scheduled for February 20th at the Swissotel.
