Coach of Chicago Fire Frank Klopas expresses optimism as the team gears up for the commencement of the Coachella Invitational Tournament in California.
The team is set to compete in four 4 matches against MLS opponents at the invitational tournament that kicks off on Wednesday, February 7th facing Austin FC, before, LAFC, Minnesota United FC, and Portland Timbers.
With a clean bill of health from training and no recorded injuries, coach Klopas believes his team is well prepared for the task ahead in California.
“We are ready for the tournament, the important thing is to build the base, we are looking forward to the tournament, the ideals and principles and the identity of the team is key, we want to progress and prepare for the beginning of the season”. We are still in the building processes; is great we will be having a great competition with MLS teams”
Chicago Fire will be on the road against Philadelphia Union on Match Day 1 when the Major League Soccer returns on Saturday, February 24th.
