Chicago Fire Head Coach Klopas Embraces Turf Challenge, Sees Opportunity at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Chicago Fire Head Coach Frank Klopas is unperturbed by the artificial turf at Mercedes-Benz stadium as the team gears up for the upcoming MLS game this weekend.

While many athletes prefer to play on natural grass due to injury concerns playing on turfs, Coach Frank Klopas expressed confidence in the quality of the Turf at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

 

“Atlanta is a first-class stadium, the turf is excellent to play, though is not grass I think is one of the best turf you can play, there is no issue just the guys recover well”

Chicago Fire with a 5-2-7 (W-T-L) record against Atlanta United in the MLS for Chicago, the team will be looking for a better result on the road on Sunday.

The game will be live on Apple TV on Sunday, March 31st at 3:30 pm CT.
