Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has addressed rumors of tension between Anthony Rüdiger and Endrick during training, following the Brazilian wonderkid’s arrival at the European champions this season.
Rüdiger, who is known for his physical presence on the field and in training, was reported to have been particularly robust with the young Brazilian at one of their training sessions during the Soccer Champions Tour in the United States.
However, Carlo Ancelotti dismissed these media reports, emphasizing that Rüdiger welcomed Endrick with open arms.
“There’s no truth to the reports; Toni Rüdiger greeted him with open arms,” Ancelotti stated at a press conference ahead of the team’s scheduled game against AC Milan in Chicago.
“There are no issues between the two players. It was simply a warm welcome to Endrick.”
