Chicago Fire player, Pineda optimistic ahead of clash with FC Cincinnati

Chicago Fire player Mauricio Pineda is optimistic about his team’s upcoming Eastern Conference clash against FC Cincinnati on Saturday at Soldier Field.

After a 2-2 draw against Philadelphia Union, Pineda who played a pivot role in the team’s opener expressed confidence in the team’s current roaster.

The 26-year-old added a win would not only please the numerous Fire fans but would also add incentive for a strong performance at the Lake Front.

“We’re focusing on & working hard to get good results at home, make our fans proud, work hard, like I said before, put good intensity into the game, &, most importantly, come out with three points at every home match”

Meanwhile, Andrew Gutman has been ruled out on Saturday’s game at Soldier Field due to an injury he sustained in the opening day match against Philadelphia Union.
