Chicago Fire’s player Jairo Torres has officially joined FC Juarez in the Liga MX according to multiple sources.
The 23-year-old is leaving Chicago Fire after a less-than-stellar two-year stint in the windy City.
Despite initial complications in Torres’s anticipated move to the Mexican League, negotiations between Fire’s front office and an unnamed club in Liga MX Club finally reached a resolution, confirming his signing with FC Juarez.
Having been deemed a surplus to requirement by Chicago Fire, Torres is returning to Mexico’s Liga MX where he previously played for Atlas before joining Chicago Fire in 2020.
The midfielder will be hoping to gain his confidence back and rediscover the form that earned him a spot-on Chicago Fire roaster in Mexico.
