Chicago Fire is set to unveil the signing of US Men’s National Team midfielder Kellyn Acosta ahead of the start of the 2024 MLS Season.

Despite attracting interest from various MLS teams, the free agent has opted to sign for Frank Klopa’s side.

Acosta with 34 caps for the US Men’s National Team, is expected to enhance Chicago Fires’ quality as they strive to qualify for the MLS Playoffs this season.

The 28-year-old midfielder will secure the deal with Allocation money, marking a significant addition to Chicago Fire’s ambitious offseason, which saw the acquisition of Belgian striker, Hugo Cuypers.
