Reports indicate that the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) is on the verge of appointing renowned international soccer manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Chelsea Manager brings a wealth of experience from his time managing top European clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain.
Despite his short stint at Chelsea FC, Pochettino’s impressive track record and his previous success at PSG and Tottenham position the Argentine as a promising leader for the USMNT as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held on home soil.
At 52, Pochettino is expected to elevate the USMNT’s performance and aim for a deep run in the tournament, with a goal of reaching the Quarter Finals or beyond.
His experience at the highest levels of the game and his work with elite players like Lionel Messi, Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, and Harry Kane are seen as key assets for the team’s future success
